The Tiktok Search Ads team is committed to serving global Advertisers, providing advertising products for marketing on TikTok search, connecting global Advertiser brands, products and services with TikTok search users, helping advertisers grow their business on TikTok search.
TikTok search is growing rapidly and becoming the preferred search engine for Gen Z and beyond, by providing interesting, and useful video search results and engaging ways to discover new products. TikTok is becoming the search engine of the future, revolutionizing how we discover and engage with content. Join the search ads team to shape the future of search and commerce.
We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2025. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.
Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below:
Monday, May 12
Monday, May 19
Tuesday May 27 (Memorial Day May 26)
Monday, June 9
Monday, June 23
We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).

Responsibilities
- Participate in/Lead Search Ads product development for Tiktok & TikTok Shop search ad demand side (web ads/app ads/lead ads/TikTok shop ads)
- Deeply understand the advertiser needs, analyze the market and competitors, design products to provide better customer ROI and satisfaction. Track customer feedback, analyze product performance, and continuously iterate products
- Deeply understand the auction ads system and iterate strategies to improve system efficiency
- Constantly evolve processes and resources to improve the delivery speed and quality
- Develop a deep understanding of the global advertising market and the needs of search advertisers
- Corporate with R&D, middle platform, platform, PSO and other teams to advance the project
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
-Pursuing a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent practical experience
-Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience interning at Internet companies
- Project practice with data analysis
- Technical background preferred
