The Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Production Planner with project initiatives, answering customer inquiries, adjusting production schedules to meet customer expectations, and assisting with special projects for clients and sales teams. The ideal candidate should be flexible to changing priorities, deadlines, and assignments, have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and email programs, and be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, peers, and customers. The candidate should also be able to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with others, and have prior SAP experience. This role requires sitting, talking, hearing, and operating a computer, telephone, and keyboard, and the ability to work in a confined area. Insight is an equal opportunity employer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Production Planner with project initiatives
  • Answer customer inquiries from the team mailbox
  • Adjusts production schedule as needed to meet customer expectations
  • Assists in special projects for clients and our sales teams: providing reporting and providing ad hoc status updates
  • Follow safety guidelines and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Communicate concerns regarding manufacturing performance issues as necessary
  • Proactively inform the sales teams of schedule changes that can impact their clients
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
What you'll need to succeed
  • Must demonstrate flexibility to changing priorities, deadlines, demands and assignments as needed.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and email programs.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, peers, and customers
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with others related to learning, problem solving, back-up support and fostering team support
  • Prior SAP experience is a big plus!
