The role you'll contribute:

The Professional Practice Coordinator provides oversight to the Pathway to Excellence program and nursing councils, in collaboration with the Senior Manager of Performance Excellence, Director of Education, Executive Director of Clinical Effectiveness, Chief Nursing Officer. Works in collaboration with nursing leadership and nursing councils to maintain ongoing programs and structures in place for the program.

• Expands Pathway program activities in support of the nursing Vision, Mission, and Philosophy of

AdventHealth

• Promotes the growth and support of the Pathway program through interdisciplinary collaboration

• Provides the direction, education, and tools necessary for Pathway and Professional Practice education utilizing nursing theory of change

• Demonstrates the ability to interpret research findings, utilize data in planning and intervening appropriately

• Serves as a consultant to leaders, staff, and physicians within the hospital and community

• Cooperatively accepts additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications - External

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
  • Minimum qualifications :

o Bachelor of Science in Nursing

o Minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical nursing

o Registered nurse is the state of Florida

  • Preferred qualifications:

o Master of Science in Nursing
