VDOT's Professional Services Procurement Office (PSPO) is seeking hire a team member who will provide procurement and contracting services to the agency's divisions and districts. This person will assist in developing and maintaining a compliance program for VDOT's PSPO while supporting successful delivery of professional services contracts.

    Knowledge of project management principles
Core Responsibilities:

Compliance Program - Assist in developing and maintaining the professional services contract admiration compliance program including annual audit / review plan, checklist and supporting materials & documentation. Conduct professional services contract administration compliance reviews. Develop compliance reporting metrics for inclusion in Division quarterly reporting.

Training - Conduct / Support Contract administration training including maintaining / updating training materials as necessary. Conduct Contract Administration and Compliance trainings for contract administrators in all Districts.

Performance Evaluations - Coordinate PSPO periodic Consultant Performance Evaluations including supporting contract administrators, consultants, and end users. Assess the current Consultant Performance Evaluation program and provide recommendations for enhancement.

Technical Support - Provide technical support, research & resolution regarding professional services contract issues. Coordinate with Fiscal Division on issues pertaining to contract invoices and payment issues as related to audit.

Additional Considerations
  • Demonstrated experience with professional services consultant contracts to include procurement and administration
  • A combination of training, experience, or education in Business, Public Administration, or related field desired
    VCA or VCO preferrable

Positions physically working within Central Office locations may be designated upon request and coordination among the respective District Engineer or Administrator and Chief.
