What you'll do:
- Perform support duties for departments, such as typing, copying, scheduling, filing, departmental level personnel files, etc.
- Provide information and communications assistance to faculty, students, vendors, parents, etc.
- Provide a supportive and friendly interface with applicants and students.
- Provide basic advising assistance to students in preparation for departmental level advising.
- Maintain and update student files and folders.
- Maintain and update records for the Early Enrollment program as required.
- Complete all department purchasing functions.
- Process all P-card transactions.
- Complete all travel requests and settlements.
- Maintain detailed budget records in Microsoft Excel.
- Complete and process requisitions in Mountaineer Marketplace.
- View GL information in MAP.
- Maintain supplies for applicable computer labs.
- Collect data for departmental personnel and department reports.
- Complete trouble tickets for computer lab problems and forward to ITS.
- Process contracts and requisitions for Early Enrollment.
- Supervise work study students and/or community service students.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in office administration, business or other technical area OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Up to 18 months of education beyond high school in office administration or other business or technical area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One (1) year of experience providing administrative support to a department or business which includes maintaining and tracking various budgets.
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a higher education institution is preferred.
