Under general supervision of the Deputy Director, Compliance, Training and Technical Assistance (Staff Services Manager II), the Program Compliance Officer (AGPA) is responsible for serving as the lead analyst regarding the full grant life cycle for AmeriCorps and CV general grants and contracts. The Program Compliance Officer assists with the development of RFA/RFPs and the review and selection of grantees. The Program Compliance Officer monitors grantees and contractors and ensures they are compliant with all reporting, fiscal and other contract provisions. This includes staying current on AmeriCorps regulations and state funding regulations, as well as assisting with developing processes, resources and training materials, while working closely with each program's assigned Portfolio Specialist as they coach and support program staff.

Working Conditions

Persons appointed to this position must be reasonably expected to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Occasional travel up to 10% may be required.

GO-Serve consists of the Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC), California Volunteers (CV), and the Youth Empowerment Commission (YEC).
