Job Summary

The School of Public Health is looking for a Program Coordinator to support our MPH Core program . This program emphasizes skills for public health practice and emphasizes courses in health education, health management and policy, and leadership and communication. You will provide administrative and operational support for both the Master of Public Health (MPH) Core program and the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) accreditation process. You will report to the Senior Director of Integrative Education and Accreditation.

Responsibilities*

MPH Core Program Support
  • Delegate tasks to student workers, establish tracking systems, and ensure completion of delegated tasks.
  • Help organize and promote MPH Core program events, including orientation sessions and capstone presentations.
  • Work with faculty to develop, implement, and report out program evaluation processes.

CEPH Accreditation Support
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to collect and organize documentation required for CEPH accreditation.
  • Help prepare reports and self-study materials for CEPH site visits.
  • Track progress on accreditation-related action items and deadlines.
  • Manage the supporting documentation of a CEPH self-study process (e.g., electronic resource file).
  • Help develop and implement quality improvement initiatives based on CEPH feedback.

Additional responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for both the MPH Core program and CEPH accreditation processes.
  • Be the point of contact for students, faculty, and external stakeholders regarding MPH Core and CEPH-related inquiries.
  • Approve timesheets and process vendor payments.
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare agendas and meeting minutes that document key actions, decisions, and due dates.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within both the MPH Core program and CEPH accreditation efforts.

Required Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, DropBox, Zoom, and Google collaboration tools
  • Demonstrated experience managing and tracking complex projects
  • Experience with curriculum management systems and student information databases
  • Familiarity with accreditation processes in higher education

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes .

A hybrid work schedule is available for this position, and details can be worked out with your supervisor. You will work during non-business hours a few times a year, including nights and weekends.
