Responsibilities
  • Organize and run Hackathons and developer community events to foster innovation, collaboration, and engagement among engineering teams and the wider developer community.
  • Establish and manage a comprehensive developer outreach program, including newsletters, open forums/mic sessions, and other engagement initiatives to keep the community informed and involved.
  • Develop and implement strategies for building and nurturing a vibrant engineering community, both internally within the organization and externally.
  • Create and curate content for community channels, including social media, blogs, and forums, ensuring it is relevant, engaging, and valuable to the community.
  • Monitor and analyze community engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of community-building efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide support and resources to community members, facilitating knowledge sharing, collaboration, and professional growth.


Qualifications
  • 3-5 years experience in project coordination, community management or developer relations
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Communications, Marketing, or a related fiel
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira and Slack
  • Proven experience in organizing events, such as Hackathons and technical meetups, with a track record of creating engaging and impactful programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse community of engineers and developers.
  • Experience with content creation and management across multiple channels (e.g., newsletters, social media, blogs).
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in software development, open-source projects, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to analyze engagement data and use insights to drive community strategy and initiatives.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Passion for technology and building inclusive, empowering communities where members can learn, grow, and connect
