A large research center at the University of Washington is looking to hire a Project Coordinator to help assist the Co-Director in the starting phases of their new project which is focused on setting up a national center to support the U.S. research community. This position is new to the team and job duties may expand as the Center kicks off and is developed in the first year, but below are a list of the initial roles and responsibilities.
• Help organize and run virtual/in person meetings, team events, scheduling, note taking, agendas and overall POC for the team.
• Executive level Project Management for support for the Director, Co-Director, Advisory Board Co-Chairs and Office of the Director Team.

o Help teams define stakeholders, organize for consistent stakeholder engagement, keep them on track, develop standard communication material Etc.

o Provide overall support for a communication strategy both internal for the team and externally.
• Data inventory and database development and maintenance of all stakeholder organizations throughout the U.S., individuals at the organizations and multiple attributes about each.
• Creative eye for graphic design when creating org charts, flowcharts, website for the project and other marketing material needed.

Required Skills & Experience
• Proficient experience working in: Microsoft suite/ Google Suite/ Monday.com/ Trello/ Microsoft project.
• 2-3 years' experience working in an Agile/ project management role.
• 2-3 years' experience supporting Executive level employees/programs.

o Scheduling event/meetings, Agenda setting, note taking, Organizer of different groups internal and external.
• Excellent communication skills to cross collaborate with Internal and external teams and coordinate across time zones.
• Thrive well in ambiguity and ability to work under minimal supervision.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous experience working for a university or research institution.
