Position Summary
We are seeking a Program Manager to join our team. This individual will oversee the substance use disorder services at the Addiction Resource Center (ARC), which is licensed under Mid Coast Hospital and managed by Maine Behavioral Healthcare. The ARC provides a variety of in-person substance use disorder services that include intensive outpatient program (IOP), outpatient counseling, medications for substance use disorders, specialty services for pregnant and parenting people, as well as other cutting-edge, evidence-based substance use disorder treatments. This front-line supervisor role involves some clinical work, the administrative management of a multidisciplinary team, and the clinical supervision of the masters level clinicians on the team.
The Program Manager will maintain primary accountability for the management and delivery of safe and effective patient/client care and for the day-to-day functions of the program. The Program Manager shares the leadership of the team and is responsible for the coordination of services. The Program Manager is responsible for the management of team members, client/patient outcomes, design, delegation and supervision of workload, team building and for the appropriate utilization of human and fiscal resources. The Program Manager works closely with management to ensure quality and compliance of clinical documentation. The Program Manager is responsible for program sustainability through effective service utilization and case load management leading to the achievement of the overall financial goals.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Master's degree in Social Work, psychology or related field is required. License/Certifications: Maine State licensure to practice at the independent level of an LCSW, LCPC, CARN, RNCS or Ph.D. in mental health and substance abuse is preferred. An LMSW-CC or LCPC-CC is required. Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in community settings preferred. 3+ years of clinical supervisory and management experience preferred.
