Program Manager II, Data Center Supply Chain, Technical Infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience in supply chain operations.

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience in delivering complex products, and knowledge of project management.
• Ability to navigate and leverage multiple large data sets to bring together actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups. Ability to customize communications based on the audience.
• Excellent critical thinking skills, along with analytical and problem solving skills.

About the job

In this role, you work with cross-functional teams to position spares into Google's global Data Centers efficiently. In this role, you are responsible for identifying process gaps and building sustainable tools and processes, deriving insights from data, and driving spares availability for our Data Centers keep our infrastructure up and running. You will work with engineering, supply chain operations, global commodity management, procurement operations and supplier/integration partners to scale spares positioning globally.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Create and implement new processes centered around demand planning, supply planning and risk mitigation, procurement operations, all with a spares lens.
• Drive spares supply chain readiness across all data center equipment spares parts.
• Partner cross-functionally across stakeholders and upstream teams to drive clarity, develop tools (dashboards) and processes, to streamline demand signals and communicate status/risks.
• Optimize manual effort and processes via automation and tooling to drive consistency and efficiency in the spares supply chain.
• Partner closely with data center operations, procurement operations, and larger equipment supply chain teams to drive collaboration and alignment to ensure spare parts are in place at current and future data center sites.
