Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they're well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Technical Operations/Maintenance
Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.
Job overview and responsibilities
Technical Operations includes the maintenance and overhaul of our aircraft. This role will lead and be responsible for moderate to large technology transformation projects within Technical Services, work cross-functionally with all divisions of United, and identify critical players, roles, and root causes to define a new business process and implement it for efficiencies. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams, and more.
NOTE: This position is based at the CSC-Willis Tower, located in Chicago, IL. and considered as a hybrid work-schedule working on a 3-days in office schedule, however, that may evolve with the needs of the company.

- Map out current business processes, working cross-functionally to identify the root cause, define effective solutions, and implement
- Provide technical substantiation and written process to findings, along with financial support and tracking
- Lead all aspects of projects such as Business Automation Workflow and Document Management Transformation
- Report on projects to upper management
- Resolve how to proceed with projects and possible updates to those projects based on the data analytics
- Plan and implement Training and Change Management
- Track key KPIs and other metrics indicating the success of transformation projects

Qualifications
What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Business, Engineering or related field experience
- 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience
- Project, Program or Change management experience
- Knowledge of aircraft manuals and documents
- MS Office skilled in Excel and Access to data manipulation and analysis
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience leading complex projects with multiple partners and getting results
- Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally 10% of the time
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

- PMP in Project Management or PROSCI or other CM Certification
