For this Associate Director, Manufacturing Operations role, we seek a strategic minded professional who will help drive improvements in our manufacturing and test execution.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Act as internal consultant to the manager and develop short and long term strategies for the value stream
  • Help coordinate continuous improvement activities to improve support processes
  • Identify equipment needs and create capital request based on needs for the value stream in order to improve throughput
  • Develop plans, schedules, and budgets on improvement projects
  • Lead make/buy transition efforts within value stream
  • Help coordinate continuous improvement activities to drive improvement within the value stream
  • Develop cost reduction and process improvement opportunities to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness
  • Facilitate and directs scheduling activities to ensure smooth operations and optimal use of facilities
  • Leads material and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations
  • Identify issues with cell performance and productivity and develops action plans to maximize performance and productivity
  • Interface with program management and functional organizations to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service
  • Ensure quality of hardware requirements is met upon delivery to the customer
  • Work driver measures to ensure both quality and schedule standards are met and upheld to meet customer expectations
  • Work with supply chain team to drive on-time delivery
  • Perform professional or management work regularly across multiple manufacturing disciplines
  • Act as the strategic arm of the execution side of the business
  • Perform day-to-day management of operations when issues persist or support is warranted


Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident Green Card holder
  • Bachelors degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience OR In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred
  • Customer relationship management experience
  • Microsoft Project Skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Cost Account Management


Preferred Qualifications:
  • An advanced degree is preferred
