Duties Description The candidate in this title will be part an agile team focused on proactively engaging Medicaid Program SMEs to elicit and document institutional knowledge on data product needs and how product management is influenced by policy, and regulatory processes that span the Medicaid enterprise. The successful candidate in this role will be responsible for supporting the Product Management Team and will play a key role in BPPM's ability to consistently deliver successful and meaningful data products by overseeing the product lifecycle management activities and the establishment of best-in-practice product management practices and procedures. The candidate will contribute to the development of business requirements, setting product strategies and roadmaps, product catalog development, process development and enforcement, vendor engagement and management and more. The Product Managers will work under the team lead to own all document standardization and creation efforts and will directly interface with SME's across BPPM and will engage with other DDSA bureaus as well as external SMEs when appropriate to ensure the transformation of institutional knowledge into accurate, comprehensive product management activities that will be used to deliver and support the bureau's mission. The Product Managers will also be responsible for ensuring documented processes are up to date and ad hoc requests of BPPM leadership as needed. It is expected that the successful candidates include a combination of both Department and Contractor staff.
