The Department of Faculty Development & Partnership is seeking to hire a Program Specialist. This is a Sponsor Funded Administrative position.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

This position is responsible for supporting teacher resident applicants through the program admission and enrollment process and transition from semester to semester through the program of study.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Develop and implement recruitment and stakeholder engagement events.
  • Collaborate with PROPEL Leadership team and PROPEL P-12 partners to identify, engage, and support potential candidates.
  • Support and provide technical assistance to program completers/teacher residents as they prepare for licensure and certification examinations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

***This is a regular, full-time position which involves on-campus and online duties, with job continuation dependent upon grant funding.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with university application and admissions processes
  • Experience working with P12 teachers and leaders
  • Experience organizing events
