JOB SUMMARY: In search of a candidate with experience in auditing, excel, Smartsheet, and analytical data. Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years in healthcare.
  • ISO/QMS Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the ISO 9001 Implementation for Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital by coordinating project administration, reviewing, revising and maintaining critical documents required to support assigned projects. Plans, develops, implements and maintains the PPMH ISO Internal Audit process, to include developing yearly audit plan and audit schedule. Also includes scheduling designated audits and follow-up audits, assisting the auditor during the preparation phase of the audit, as well as conducting audits and meeting with department directors to discuss audit results. Maintains current up-to-date audit log and all documentation associated with the audit. Develops ISO 9001 Internal Audit Training Program & conducts training for ISO 9001 Auditors. Serves as an ISO 9001 project implementation resource and internal subject matter expert for all ISO related initiatives and ongoing activities. Responsible for managing the PPHS Policy Management System for the Health System. As Policy Administrator, responsibilities include ensuring that policies are entered into the PPHS Policy Management System (Compliance 360) and that policies flow appropriately through the designated workflow and once approved are uploaded in Compliance 360 for the end user to view. In addition, ensures that policies are reviewed and approved in the appropriate timeframe

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • May be required to change from one task to another of different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.
  • Long-distance or air travel as needed - not to exceed 10% travel.


Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (Required)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 3 - 4 years Experience in hospital accreditation or Quality Department (Required)
  • 3 - 4 years Experience with ISO 9001:2015 Standards (Required)
  • 1 - 2 years Internal Auditing Experience (Preferred)
