An employer in the Durham NC area is seeking a Controls Project Engineer for a 6 month contract to hire. This person will be joining the Controls Engineering Team to design and implement control systems on Control Projects.

Controls Project Engineers design/plan control projects by selecting the required components, writing sequences, creating control submittals/drawings, creating programs/configurations and completing graphic packages.

The Controls Engineering Team provides
technical support to Customers, the commercial service team, and control technicians/installers. The engineering team also tests new products including controllers, sensors, etc. ensuring projects are implemented with the best possible products and sequences.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of overall experience
2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer
Experience with Visio (or other PM Software Tools)
Knowledge of Mechanical HVAC Systems and Building Automation System (BAS)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

AX/N4 Certification
