A well-known Government supporting company in the Dayton OH area is seeking a Project Engineer for a contract to hire role to join a collaborative team supporting various projects within AFRL. These projects are involving many focuses related to aircraft, ground support equipment and vehicle sustaining engineering. This specific project will be supporting different cooling solutions for various air crafts. Under the guidance of a senior engineer, this role will support and lead research, evaluation, reverse engineering, design, and test/validation of hardware for aircraft, support equipment, and vehicles. This work will be 25% working within the MBSE environment creating models and the other time spent will be designing the actual hardware, developing test plans, executing them and helping with the other division to support the flight testing taking place!

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering etc
- 2+ years experience working within a MBSE environment

o Applying Cameo/magic draw/doors or similar MBSE toolset
- Hands on hardware design, testing, implementation experience
- Ability to obtain a clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- DoD experience

o Aircraft systems, vehicle equipment support
- 3d CAD modeling software experience --Solidworks, Inventor etc
- Ability to create, read and interpret models, technical drawings, schematics and computer generated reports
- Active clearance
