Overview

Project Manager - Houston Repair Center Team - Houston, TX

Main Responsibilities


  • Attend kickoff project meeting after purchase order has been received from customer

    o

    Create order acknowledgement to send to customer

    o

    Enter project into shop ERP system

    o

    Enter project financials into Salesforce and obtain any required approvals



    Ensure purchase orders and any revisions are entered in salesforce / shop ERP system for assigned projects



    Track and steward all phases of the project from requirements gathering and signoff, design and Engineering, manufacturing, QA and testing, and shipping and delivery



    Assist the Project Manager with verifying that required materials will arrive when required by coordinating with purchasing group



    Steward inspection/repair process of received components to ensure jobs are progressing



    Create recommendation reports for received components to send to customers by coordinating with engineering, operations and quality groups



    Work to help ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and on or under budget



    Assist in managing project schedule, budget, quality, risks, as well as communication and procurement processes.



    Verify that necessary agreements/contracts are established and follow up with third party vendors / suppliers and internal customers



    Assist in managing changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques and ensure changes are documented to customer



    Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation



    Work with the Project Manager to provide weekly revenue forecasts and 30 day lookahead for assigned projects for coordination and reporting



    Gather and review project documentation for completeness prior to sending to customer / other departments



    Assist in the development of processes, procedures, and workflows to improve performance of the group

What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study desirable but not required
    • Proven experience working in projects required
    • Excellent client and internal communication skills- COVID protocols in place
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking is required
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Project is required
    • Creative thinking/problem solving skills necessary
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Sales Force, IFS and E2 shop systems knowledge are a plus

Salary range: $68,000 annual - $78,000 annual, depending on experiencw, plus bonus plan
