Your Tasks
  • Project management for equipment new equipment supply and rebuild/repair/modification projects in the field of environmental air pollution control / solvent recovery systems.
  • Detail development and monitoring of bid pack project schedule in conjunction with the master project schedules and purchasing.
  • Ensure that the project scope of work is fully understood by the project team.
  • Develop other departments and manage internal and external project schedules.
  • Coordinate client information (e.g., project scope) with other departments.
  • Coordinate invoicing of vendors and of client with project accounting.
  • Prepare client change orders.
  • Development of cost reports and monthly updates.
  • Preparation of cost reports and monthly updates.
  • Work within the guidelines of the Dürr Group project management manual and other Dürr BOS procedures.
  • Monitor site activities for schedule compliance, costs and health and safety.
  • Attend and facilitate project coordination meetings.
  • Clarification and finalization of bid documents.
  • Chair and / or support project meetings.
  • Prepare monthly project progress updates for customer as required.
  • Project cash flow projections.
  • Risk management identify, manage and control project risks.
  • Provide mentoring to associate project managers and graduate trainees.
  • Conduct internal project closeout meeting, generate and distribute closeout report.
  • Closeout the project with the customer and obtain final payment.
  • Manage / approve warranty requests from the customer.

Your Skills
  • Multiple locations (Hybrid): Waterloo, ON; Southfield, MI; Green Bay WI.
  • Previous experience in new equipment supply and rebuild/repair/modification projects in the field of environmental air pollution control / solvent recovery systems highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate subject (e.g. Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical), Construction Management)
  • Two years of experience in field or project management.
  • Position related experience in similar industry strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to understand and maintain project schedules.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Good technical writing skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate with engineering and estimating departments, contractors, suppliers, and customers.
  • Able to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to technically define problems and propose solutions.
  • Adaptable to change in a learning environment.
  • Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Invoicing according to Contract Terms.
  • Basic knowledge of Controls Engineering is a plus.
  • Understanding of electrical hardwire drawings.
  • Knowledge of basic PLC control principles.
  • Basic knowledge of sheet metal & structural fabrication.
  • Basic understanding of heavy equipment installation procedures.
