Position Summary:
The Prosthetic Lab Manager is responsible for managing the overall performance and operations of the ceramics department within the Straumann Group CAD/CAM facility located in Mansfield, Texas. This includes overseeing a team of prosthetic specialists to ensure excellence in service delivery and customer experience.
The position reports directly to the Director of Lab Services and will play a crucial role in fiscal management, budgeting, and planning. The role involves overseeing pilots and projects, working closely with the local operations team, providing reports and metrics, and managing technical supervisors.

Essential Functions and Duties:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
  • Ensure excellence in the end-to-end customer experience
  • Manage and reorganize the prosthetic specialist team
  • Lead the local operations team to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Develop and manage the budget, including fiscal planning and monitoring
  • Oversee and implement pilots and projects within the prosthetics department
  • Collect and analyze data to provide comprehensive reports and metrics to the Director of Lab Services and CSM NAM
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues within the Straumann NAM and Global organization
  • Meet all Straumann CSR KPIs.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of business experience with progressively increasing responsibility
  • 5+ years of customer service supervisory experience in a call center environment
  • 5+ years proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 5+ years of high level customer service and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Highly customer-focused with a good understanding of the dental market (prosthetics) and customer requirements
  • Objectives-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiar with customer analytics data and digital solutions, with a track record of using data to develop and deliver customer insights for rational decision-making and business growth
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, able to solve problems with verifiable data
  • In-depth understanding of commercial business with the ability to influence, challenge, and innovate to support commercial strategic imperatives
  • Strategic mindset with strong capability to communicate clearly and foster alignment across all organizational levels
  • Previous work in the dental or medical devices industry
  • Lean manufacturing and process improvement experience
