Non-competitive: six years of experience in public relations, social media, and digital communications. Associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Communications, or similar degree, substitutes for two, four, or five years.

Duties Description Responsible for all multimedia design work for the Department, from concept to completion

• Create video and animated material for social media and web

• Provide photography services and run photo shoots

• Work with regions and Main Office program areas to provide digital design services, as needed

• Create interactive and dynamic multimedia, web and digital layouts

• Coordinate the largest, most visible multimedia projects

• Produce highly creative promotional media, such as brochures, posters, renderings, and large format, tabletop and pop-up displays for digital use and for printing

• Develop and create all multimedia, web and social media graphics

• Design digital templates, including for letterhead, certificates and power point presentations

• Design digital logos, mock ups and photo manipulations

• Create custom vector art work

• Create and maintain schedules, deadlines and tasks for design work

Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department's response to regional and statewide emergency situations.

Additional Comments The Travel requirement will be discussed in detail at the time of interview. While not mandatory, OT may be available at times.
