Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the management of Quality Administrative personnel
• Identify and initiate correspondence between outside sources and internal representatives
• Assist departments with various administrative needs
• Schedule appointments for various meetings and customer relations
• Assist in coordinating inputs and updates to Fairlead's Quality Management System (QMS)
• Assist in overseeing policies and procedures to ensure compliance within the QMS
• Help maintain feedback regarding customer relations and client reports
• Assist with preparation and execution of the periodic Quality Management Reviews
• Help ensure the QMS is effective and meets the requirements of the required certification. (ISO
9001/AS9100/MARMC/EB2678/NADCAP)
• Assist all departments with process flows, procedure development, critiques etc.
• Prime point of contact for monthly quality objectives and process measurements
• Collect, prepare, and communicate monthly quality objectives and process measurements
• Assist with monitoring corrective action plans and milestone dates and help verify correction of internal
control deficiencies
• Prepare staff for internal and external audits
• Review progress with meeting development
• Act as a point of contact with the Department of Human Resource to spread companywide announcements
• Manage the closure and retention of work packages
• Internal auditor to AS9100 standard
• Assist in the upkeep of Fairlead's internal audit program
• Assist in the preparation of external and internal communication
• Serve as a point of contact for clients on quality concerns
• Communicate effectively with internal customers and vendors
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
• Member of the QSRT (Quality System Review Team)
• Qualified or obtain qualification within one year as an AS9100 Internal Auditor
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the AS9100 standard and ability to learn aspects of other applicable standards
• Capable of independent work
• Ability to quickly learn new tasks with minimal oversight
• Present self in a professional manner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to perform rudimentary business math
• Able to learn and/or effectively use Microsoft applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
Physical Demands:
• While performing these job duties, the employee is routinely required to stand; walk; sit; handle objects, tools
or controls; use fingers to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities
required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and
the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
• This position is performed in a traditional office and manufacturing environment, with some local travel
between facilities.
