WHAT WILL YOU DO:
This position is responsible for providing general information as requested by telephone, in person, or in writing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Greeting visitors, ascertaining the nature of business, and directing them to the appropriate staff or faculty member.
- Answering a multi-line telephone and directing callers to the appropriate staff member.
- Taking messages and/or forwarding calls to voicemails.
- Answering routine questions.
- Directing more difficult questions to the appropriate advisor or staff member.
- Sorting mail as it is delivered to the office.
- Performing light typing duties and general clerical duties.
- Performing other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and one-year receptionist or customer service experience.
- Minimum of one year experience in a customer service role, preferably in higher education
