Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) is hiring for Reliability Program Managers!

The Program Manager will direct a team of facilities associates, as well as potentially supervise Area Maintenance Managers and will ensure a safe working environment for all.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Support the Operations team by working in a safe, customer-focused manner
• Develop and design innovative solutions to difficult problems
• Handle multiple internally and externally sponsored projects
• Meet deadlines, develop and track plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals
• Work with local site Safety Department leadership to understand, implement and audit safety programs. Ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs that integrate with Operations schedules.
• Facilitate and mentor the professional development of departmental Maintenance technicians to empower them achieve their advancement goals
• Participate in and support efficiency improvement Kaizen activities for the site, as well as the network when needed.
• Participate in weekly network Maintenance calls and periodic Maintenance Manager off-site conferences.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Experience with computers, including MS Excel, Word and Office
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering
- 5+ years of experience as a Reliability Program Manager or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience with team management, budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/ customer relations
- Experience using CMMS systems and reporting
- Experience with computers, including MS Excel, Word and Office
- Relevant training in MHE, Controls Systems, PIT as well as general building operations
- Experience in project management
- Experience with leading and delivering technical training
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools such as: 5S, 5Y, FMEA, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC, Run Charts, Pareto Analysis
- Strong communication and presentation/facilitation skills
- Strong analytical skills to deep dive into data
- Ability to turn complex compliance requirements into scalable processes
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to align, motivate and lead a team including creating accountability
- Prefer experience managing teams in an industrial environment containing conveyance, process control and powered trucks
- Demonstrated communication skills written and verbal including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Ability to lead others in a technical role and interact with all levels of management
- Reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to train others with lesser skills
- Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and relate them to others.
- Field service engineering experience
- Experience supporting a wide range of different conveyors and sortation systems
- Ability to develop and maintain a partnership and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally with Safety, Operations, Engineering, Sr. Management, peers, contractors and vendors
- Ability to multitask and prioritize many different projects
- Six Sigma certification from accredited program
- Root Cause Analysis formal training and facilitation experience
- PMP certification
- Experience with Electrical and electronic principles
- Experience with Blueprint and electrical schematic reading
- Experience in usage of CMMS programs in support of RCA projects
- Experience with Preventive maintenance procedures, Industrial electrical, Industrial controls, and Industrial electronics & robotics
