An employer is looking for a fully remote contract specialist to join the team. This person will provide business operational support across Immunology R&D, supporting end-to-end contracting, budget management, and enabling scientific progression in the Immunology Therapeutic Area (TA). They will manage the 5 below responsibilities-
- Manage the end-to-end contracting process for R&D-related agreements (service agreements, consultancy, etc.) on behalf of Scientific Leads and Business Partners utilizing appropriate enterprise-wide tools for contracting, health care compliance and supplier management. Monitor progress and facilitate timely completion of all supported contracts.
- Serve as the key interface between JRD Procurement, KOL and the TA enabling efficient management of Fee for Service and Consultancy Agreements
- Provide oversight of invoicing process
- Cultivate business relationships and strengthen partnerships with collaborators.
- Provide consultation regarding scientific contract requirements to business operations team as needed.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree + 3-5 years of experience, or a Masters degree.
- Ability to manage 20-30 contracts at a time and negotiate the timelines.
- Experience with contract management and J&J contracting systems (Ariba and Aravo)
- Experienced managing the contract process for consultancy agreements and confidentiality agreements
- Utilize systems creatively to reduce manual reporting of contract information and status.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Contract management experience with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) contracting experience preferred.
- Experience working with totality health care compliance software
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
