Remote Financial Analyst

An energy and renewables client of Insight Global's is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to add to their growing finance team. The job is about more than excel modeling. Its about creating those models and seeing them through business implementation towards building a great company you can be proud of.
As an early member of the finance team, youll
Influence strategy by working directly with executives across the business
Build financial models supporting major financial decisions in renewable energy
Learn new transactions including project financing, tax equity, and equity financing, working directly with investors, lawyers, and consultants
Follow through performance against plan and proactively identify weaknesses and opportunities to improve across the business
Partner with accounting and engineering to build a financial foundation that scales

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5+ years of experience in renewable energy, private equity, investment banking, financial services, consulting, or a high growth startup
- Significant experience modeling financials, cash flow statements, financing for debt, etc.
- Extremely well-versed in Excel
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- MBA or MFA
