We are growing and adding to our Team! We are seeking a hard-working, dedicated, positive HR professional to manage day-to-day HR operations. This role is remote, M-F 40+ hours per week.

This is a remote role. Ideal candidates will have ABA experience and live in one of our current operating states (North Carolina, Maryland, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, Texas). Travel to local EI Centers may be required if candidates are in geographical area of centers.

What will you do as the Human Resources (HR) Manager

Under the guidance of the AVP HR, the HR Manager will oversee day-to-day HR tasks and duties. This role will ensure efficient and timely execution of the HR department processes, company policies, administrative tasks, HRIS auditing and updating, and compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities HR Manager

• Ensure successful day-to-day HR operations

• Manage all areas of human resources including but not limited to staffing, performance management, benefits, and employee relations and training.

• Benefits and compensation administration, employee relations and training.

• Oversees and manage the HR team

• Interact with cross-functional teams and department managers to execute tactical and strategic HR tasks

• Develop, document and implement departmental workflows that increase operational efficiency

• Facilitate comprehensive new hire orientations to familiarize employees with company policies, procedures, and culture

• Conduct proactive check-ins with new hires (7-day, 30-day, etc.) to evaluate their progress, identify potential challenges, and provide necessary support and guidance.

• Provide daily/weekly/monthly staffing updates via reporting, tracking and leading meetings

• Serve as a point of contact for all employees promptly addressing their questions and concerns or delegating to appropriate team member/s.

• Provide guidance, Human Resource expertise and counsel all levels of management regarding employee performance management including progressive disciplinary action, performance improvement plans, corrective action plans and terminations.

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies across all HR functions

• Create and revise departmental policies and procedures as needed to align with agency goals, practices, federal, state, local labor laws and/or funding requirements

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of HR records by management/oversight of personnel files, consistently updating HRIS data entries, and generating reports as needed

• Represent the HR Department during external audit reviews

• Manage unemployment claims and represent the agency during unemployment hearing

• Oversee and manage FMLA, ADA, WC, incident reporting, internal investigations

• Federal/state reporting

• Company newsletters

• Complete special projects as needed/assigned

• Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Although remote, this position does not offer flexible work schedules and must work at minimum M-F 8:30am - 5:00pm EST

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience (at least two successful years in a working supervisory/management role)

• Bachelor's Degree in applicable field

• Previous experience in the ABA field strongly preferred; non-profit and/or healthcare field also preferred/considered

• Experience utilizing Microsoft applications, HRIS (Paylocity preferred)

• Detail oriented, strong organizational, time management, analytical, problem solving, and customer service skills.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including phone and email.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with changing workflows while maintaining a positive attitude.
