Remote - INTL - India- Elixir Engineer

An ecommerce client is looking for a remote Full Stack Engineer to sit remotely within India. On the Product Catalog Team, we have pipelines that pull in product data from various internal, external, and third-party data sources. Often, that data is inaccurate and incomplete. We use matching algorithms and business domain expert knowledge to compile the data and resolve conflicts. After this, we publish our cleansed Catalog dataset to a Data Vault data warehouse. Recently, we started to expose this dataset via a GraphQL Web API. This API will make our Catalog data more accessible and versatile for queries. Additionally, we have started to build data management and observability tools with Phoenix LiveView. As a full-stack software engineer, you will add to our action-oriented, startup-minded culture as well as assist us in driving product initiatives forward while upholding our high engineering standards.
You will be accountable for our Catalog Platform UI end-to-end. This spans data modeling, testing, implementation, visual layout, security, deployment, and operability.
You will be expected to have strong verbal and written communication skills in order to work with engineers and non-technical people alike.
You will be expected to work directly with product managers and designers to build fully featured modern web applications.
You will be expected to be trustworthy, open, and honest, while always respectful of others.
You will be expected to follow and promote best practices for professional software development, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous integration, automated testing, operations and metrics.
You will be expected to deliver incremental business value on a continuous basis in order to learn quickly and make adjustments as needed.
