* This individual will be working as a Principal Engineer on the Personalization and Recommendation Team of a high-end luxury retail company

* Actively engaged in the design and architecture of systems, translating requirements into effective solutions for the Personalization and Recommendation Team

* Collaborate closely with three key teams: Data Science, Enterprise Data Warehouse and Customer Data Management

* Propose innovation solutions to ensure seamless data flow between teams

* Oversee and facilitate end-to-end processes to generate personalized customer preferences

* Provide guidance and advice to engineers on best practices ensuring high-quality work

* Actively contribute to development tasks on a daily basis

Required Skills & Experience

* Technical expertise and extensive architectural knowledge in cloud architecture

* Strong preference for AWS, AWS Glue, AWS EC2 and AWS Serverless or any other cloud serverless technologies

* Hands-on experience architecting solutions around data ETLs in a cloud, hybrid cloud environment

* 5+ years of hands-on experience working with middleware

* Highly skilled in Python or TypeScript

* Proficient with Snowflake

* Strong experience with data flows and data pipelines

* Deep technical understanding of architecture requirements and existing systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Proficient in connecting to data-related services such as Snowflake, Amazon Bedrock and AWS Glue

* Prior eCommerce experience
