Insight Global is seeking a 100% remote Security Analyst to support a dynamic federal government project. The candidate will support the refinement of information security requirements and ensure that the requirements are integrated into information technology component products and information systems through purposeful security architecting, design, development, and configuration. Responsibilities include:
Prepare and delivery security documentation, work with agency IT department to understand and comply with guardrails, prepare and coordinate recommendations to satisfy cybersecurity concerns
Assist project team and stakeholders in designing, implementing, and effectively operating IT controls and process that protect data and sensitive information
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into system planning, fieldwork, and reporting
Perform threat mitigation, and alignment to NIST Standards
Independently review security artifacts provided by Sectors and other organizations and assess both the technical and functional adequacy of the cyber security/information assurance controls

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
At least 3 years of experience with government IT financial or system testing and understanding of federal internal controls
Demonstrated experience technical writing
Ability to convert functional cybersecurity requirements into system requirements.
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously; coordinating resources and ensuring scheduled goals are met.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an MBI Public Trust Clearance (Active MBI Clearance is preferred
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
