Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst for one of our top clients who provide insurance solutions to catastrophe exposed areas. They are the leading provider of residential earthquake insurance. The role will ideally be hybrid remote out of Fairfield, CA, but has the potential to sit fully remote for the right candidate, but based out of the West Coast is required.

As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will need to understand the business needs, facilitate the decision-making process, understand the technical capabilities and feasibility of our client's systems, and document those changes so the project team can deliver to the needs of the business. In addition to being versatile, this specific role is expected to have in-depth knowledge in the area of Claims (including but not limited to claims handling, FNOL, claims platform change management, and experience with 3rd party integrations) to bridge the gap between the claims department and the development team.

The Sr. BA is key to the success of the project, inspiring confidence across the organization by bringing several aspects of the project together to ensure a common understanding across business and IT.

Additional responsibilities will include:
- Manage the requirements gathering process and provide updates to the team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT team, and external partners and vendors, to gather and document business requirements.
- Lead collaboration efforts across IT and business units on Change/Release Management for all application systems, production changes, implementations, and documentation.
- Lead collaboration with the testing team on test strategy and test plans. Additionally, validate that the test cases align with the organization's expectations.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance Industry
- 3+ years of experience in Property and Casualty Insurance
- Expert knowledge on claims
- Experience reading/writing/manipulating SQL queries to pull data

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or master's Degree
