The Huber/Geldenhuys labs are seeking applications for a non-tenure track Research Assistant Professor, in the area of neuropharmacology. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of multidisciplinary collaborative research. The Huber/Geldenhuys labs have a long-standing history of extramural funding from the NIH. This position will report to Jason Huber, PhD, Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Responsibilities will include contributing to ongoing research and developing a fundable research program. The researcher is expected to expand the research profile of the labs by increasing research productivity through submission of publications and grants.

Qualifications

• A relevant doctoral degree (e.g., PhD).
• 3 years of experience as a post-doctoral fellow, as represented by grant funding and high impact journal publications, is an important quality for consideration.
• Advanced expertise in research design and methodology.
• Record of peer-reviewed publications.
• Demonstrated abilities to lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Evidence of mentoring experience.
