  • Develop methodologies for analyzing MMS data.
  • Support the development of novel plasma instruments.

  • Participate and carry out original research in magnetospheric and heliospheric physics.
  • Support the development of particle and plasma instruments to be flown on upcoming heliospheric or planetary missions.
  • Interact with the institute Staff engaged on a broad range of observational, computational, and theoretical research.
  • Publish original research in peer reviewed journals.

  • Requires an PhD in Space physics or related field with directly related experience.
  • 0-2 years: Spacecraft Data Analysis.
  • 0-2 years: Demonstrated expertise in Python, and/or IDL programming.
  • 0-2 years: Demonstrated publications record.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
