What you'll do:
  • Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
  • Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
  • Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Many departments will be more administrative (on computers/phones) and amount of face-to-face patient interactions will vary.
  • Float to various departments based on need. Departments include Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Urogynecology, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Neurology, Gynecologic Oncology, Neurosurgery, Rheumatology, Vascular, Diabetes/Endocrinology, Nephrology, Infectious Disease, Pulmonology & more.


Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • CA RN license
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • ADN or Nursing Diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • 2-3 years outpatient RN experience
