Registered Nurse-RN Uni t Man ager Qualifi c ations & Responsibilities:

• Asso c iates or Ba c helor's Degree in Nursing
• C urrent, Unen c umbered New Jersey Registered Nurse Li c ense
• Previous long-term c are experien c e is preferred but not required .
• Prior experien c e in inpatient and palliative c are is preferred
• Prior experien c e managing staff is preferred
• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift b y: monitoring the distribution of medi c ations, blood draws , and other elements of patient c are.
• C ondu c t nursing rounds on all ea c h uni t multiple times throughout the shift.
• Provide edu c ation, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.
• Assess the uni que needs of ea c h patient to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Tra c k treatments and patient progress a c c ording to HIPAA guidelines
• C oordinate with supervising physi c ians to ensure smooth re c overy pro c ess for residents
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in a c c ordan c e with lo c al, state, and federal guidelines
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Dire c tor of Nursing, Dire c tor of Nursing or Administrator
• Li c ensed Pra c ti c al Nurse may be c onsidered

Registered Nurse-RN Uni t Man ager S c hedules & Benefits:

• Schedule: Full time, M-F, weekend shifts TBD
