Our Award Winning Client is seeking a Sales Account Manager to lead and coordinate commercial activities for assigned automotive accounts within the Engineered Plastics business unit, catering to the Automotive/Mobility Industry. This is a residence-based role located in East Michigan or Northern Ohio.
Account coverage area: US North East - Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois.

Account coverage area: US North East - Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute pricing strategies on a quarterly basis or per commercial agreement to optimize margin and profitability.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers across customer value chains.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
- Gain insights into customer needs and industry trends.
- Formulate comprehensive account plans aligned with industry and product strategies.
- Collaborate with internal support functions including Market Development, Application Development, Product Technology, and Customer Service.
- Maintain and manage the customer project pipeline using CRM systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience, or MBA/Master's Degree with 4 years of experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in sales of Plastic Injection molding products to Tier 1 Automotive clients.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient sales capabilities and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated technical and sales expertise to establish credibility with large, multinational corporations.
- Experience in Automotive Plastic Injection Molding sales.
- Regular customer visitation experience.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong listening skills to understand customer needs.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and earn respect within the organization and the marketplace.
- Leadership skills to motivate and coach team members.
