SAP SR Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead efforts from end-to-end, delegating tasks, reviewing work, and driving results holistically. Youll manage medium complexity features from technical design through to completion, executing a defined software engineering roadmap that aligns with the organizations engineering and technology strategy. Your responsibilities include coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the development process for projects with moderate to high complexity, often under limited or no supervision. Youll identify and recommend improvements to the software development lifecycle and best practices in SAFe agile engineering/framework. Additionally, youll conduct demos of application features, design features to support automated testability, and engage in research, design, and prototyping within a cross-functional team. Youll work with u to translate solution architecture into design specifications, organize the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions, set effort estimates, and continuously collaborate to update specifications based on user requirements. Furthermore, youll coordinate and implement new architectures, standards, methods, and logic for enterprise software in accordance with business strategies and specifications, ensuring proper documentation of software design and collaborating with business partners to design and implement solutions that meet architecture standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in information technology, related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant experience required
Experience with solution design, enterprise architecture, and SAP S/4 HANA implementation that includes CDS, OData, Adobe forms, BRF+, Workflow, BADI's and user exits required.
Experience with SAP BTP Services is preferred.
Experience with API or DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline integration is preferred.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience migrating On-Prem SAP 2022 S/4 HANA environment to SAP Rise is preferred.
Experience defining and executing an SAP Clean Core Strategy through BTP Services preferred.
Experience developing Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements preferred.
