Job Summary

Credential Information:
A valid, unexpired California credential authorizing School Nurse Services is required for regular and substitute school nurse positions.
The following are acceptable credentials:
• School Nurse Services Credential (authorization code R52N)
• Health Services Credential with School Nurse Authorization (authorization code R52A)
Individuals without one of the credentials listed above must show evidence of eligibility for and willingness to obtain the Preliminary School Nurse Services Credential. Requirements for the Preliminary School Nurse Services Credential is found on the Commission on Teacher Credentialing's School Nurse Services leaflet CL-380.
