Insight Global is seeking a Security Analyst that will define a company's fundamental principles, determine compliance with their internal and external regulations, and support their business needs. This role will assist the Chief Information Security Officer in completing client security risk assessments, including creating relevant documentation. This role advises cross-functional teams on the development, implementation, and maintenance of information systems to ensure that best practice control objectives are achieved in protecting information assets. The role guides teams by making pragmatic recommendations for priority investments and projects that will mitigate overall risks by strengthening defenses and reducing vulnerabilities for information assets. The pay rate for this role is between $45-60 depending on a candidate's years of experience.
Day to Day
- Identify, assess, and prioritize IT risks to corporate data and systems, including external threats, cyber-crimes, internal threats, and third-party risks. Advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate courses of action to mitigate or eliminate risk.
- Provide security contributions to System and Organization Controls (SOC) audit processes.
- Define and facilitate the information security risk assessment process, including the reporting and oversight of treatment efforts to address findings with collaboration of the Compliance, IT and Product teams.
- Provide security contributions to the vendor and client risk management process, including assessment and remediation efforts
- Provide strategic risk guidance and consultation for corporate IT projects
- Coordinate the development of implementation plans and procedures to ensure that business-critical services are recovered in the event of a security event. Provide direction, support, and in-house consulting in these areas.
• Provide regular reporting on the status of the information security program.
• Facilitate a metrics and reporting framework to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program, facilitate appropriate resource allocation, and increase the maturity of the security.

Required Skills & Experience
Batchelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems
3-5 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information Security, and information technology fields
Experience working in an Azure environment
Experience working with tools like LogRhythm, Qualys, and Tenable
Experience with SOC, HITRUST, HITECH, and CMS Regulations
Knowledge of common informal security management frameworks such as NIST
Strong interpersonal skills
