Description
Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is looking for a Senior Agile Development Specialist to work on the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) - Increment 1 (INC1) program. The Global Enterprise Network Modernization - OCONUS (GENM-O) is a critical mission provider responsible for keeping the Army connected through global network modernization projects. The Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) - Increment 1 (INC1) will unify the next generation of Army transport to comply with the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) divestiture mandate. A phased systematic approach is required to provide individual sites with standardized, updated technology systems to ensure the Army's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure is equipped to provide soldiers with cutting-edge technology to ensure applications, data, and enterprise services are accessible, trusted, and interoperable across the globe.
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others.

Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00

Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitates and optimizes the Agile development process.
- Guides and supports cross-functional teams in adopting and practicing Release Train management, Scrum principles, and ceremonies.
- Promotes a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement, ensuring the team delivers high-quality products on time.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes software releases within an Agile framework.
- Facilitates and optimizes the delivery of value by ensuring that agile teams work collaboratively to achieve program objectives.
- Provides long-range release planning for program objectives, develops release plan based on product backlog priorities, documents schedule and contents of proposed system releases, conduct sprint planning meetings, plan sprints based on backlog priorities, estimated effort required, and the scope and resources available during the sprint.
- Develops Global Software Defined Networking (SDN) Product Roadmap and executes Quality Assurance (QA) checklist.
- Manages requirements and implementation of software and network to incrementally enable SDN capabilities, increase system automation, and apply governance.
- Assists with capture, vetting, and validation of requirements from key Government stakeholders. Documents and tracks approvals, mappings, and releases of SDN updates.
- Develops the product back log and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), ensuring that the requirements management process is effective and delivered to end user satisfaction.
- Coordinates release planning to support the long-range release plan prior to each release deployment.
- Uses Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) methodology to develop custom Application Programming Interface (API) integrations, automations, and network functionality aligning with SDN Product Roadmap.
- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience or a Masters and 10+ years of related experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience working within the Agile framework.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working within Army's IT infrastructure.
- DoD 8570 certifications.
- Agile certified practitioner.
- US Citizen with a Secret security clearance
