Provides guidance to team members to organize the Hoch Center for Emergency Education program operations. Coordinates and instructs in educational initiatives. Ensures Instructor coverage for scheduled classes.
Job Responsibility
- Provides guidance to team members to teach/facilitate sessions of complex programs and less complicated courses.
- Ensures the preparation of assessment materials, coordination of examinations and evaluation tools and scheduling of classes and faculty assignments.
- Ensures adequate inventory of training equipment and materials for classes.
- Develops customer-centered service improvements; designs the curriculum according to published instructor and student guides.
- Incorporates evidence-based research into educational plans and nursing practice.
- Conducts in the process to identify candidates to attend educational sessions and coordinates the scheduling of these sessions between participants, instructors, and facility leadership.
- Develops all educational materials necessary to stimulate participants and meet their individual and departmental needs.
- Evaluates instructors on an ongoing basis according to external standards; maintains policy updates and updates course material as appropriate.
- Monitors program to ensure that goals and objectives are being met.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
- Paramedic experience, required.
- New Paramedic Certification, required.
- American Heart Association Instructor, preferred.
