This role is hybrid with on-site expectations of 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

Work directly with the business and broader Legal and Compliance team to help drive compliance across an array of innovative financial product offerings. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience creating, monitoring, and enhancing policies, procedures, and controls of an effective compliance program. The candidate would have experience building risk assessments and presenting results of control monitoring and testing to management.
  • Collaborate with product team members to design, implement, and enhance risk assessments and monitoring programs related to money movement and banking operations.
  • Ensure product compliance requirements are continuously improving, while identifying any potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate.
  • Create, monitor, and enhance policies, procedures, and controls to evaluate and ensure the effectiveness of the compliance program. Regularly update these documents to reflect changes in regulations and business practices.
  • Document issues identified through multiple compliance channels (i.e. exams, audits, complaint themes, etc.) and coordinate with relevant teams to develop, execute, and track remediation plans.
  • Develop and maintain a compliance report dashboard to track key performance indicators and qualitative data points from a compliance perspective.
  • Drive the mindset that compliance is a strategic advantage, enabling business growth and customer satisfaction. Lead efforts to embed a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
