Who you will work with:

You will work for the VP of Operations of the Common Hardware Group, and partner closely with the EVP of CHG and his core leadership team to provide operational rigor, business process and reporting across the organization. You will develop a core team of business operations professionals to directly support the buseinsses within CHG. Finance, Cisco Operations, and other cross functional team members will be critical partners.

You'll partner with the EVP of CHG and his leadership team. You will lead organizational transformation that aligns to the Business Unit's and Cisco's long-term vision and goals. You be the right hand person to the EVP of CHG, leading the workforce strategy, you will ensure the team drive progress and action against their strategic roadmap and will help the EVP to demonstrate the direction of CHG to its key partners.
What you will do:

The Director of Business Operations and Planning for Cisco's Common Hardware Group will lead and be responsible for the business planning, operational execution, and business performance management of the group. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring alignment with Cisco's overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of hardware development processes, and a proven track record in business operations and planning.
  • Help evolve and lead the implementation and progress of CHG's operating model
  • Lead a small team of Business Operations exerts to support SiliconOne and the Client Optics engineering organizations
  • Work closely with Finance and Supply chain for budget and finance management
  • Coordinate LRSP and Annual planning
  • Support timely updates for ELT and Board level deliverables
  • Own the monthly and quarterly review process
  • Provide regular and automated business reporting
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or an equivalent of 10+ years of experience in business operations and planning, program management or a related field.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience in business operations, program management or finance with a track record of supporting high-performing engineering organizations with a focus on semiconductor, hardware development or related engineering field.
  • Proven experience in analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in networking hardware and semiconductor business operations.
  • Strong financial background and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with partners at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of Engineering at Cisco, including development lifecycle and processes, business planning and budgeting.
  • MBA a plus.

U.S. employees have to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
