Insight Global's client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support their nuclear group. working a hybrid work schedule. They will be responsible for doing electrical power and control system design for power plant projects. The design could include selection, sizing, and layout of electrical systems and components found in mission-critical applications, design for MCCs, switchgear layouts, control rooms, electrical room layouts, conduit/cable schedules/layouts, wiring design, one-line diagrams, schematics, low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution, motor control design, and DCS/PLC system design. Additionally, they will be responsible for coordinating design teams/efforts, conducting client meetings, coordinating with project managers to develop proposals/estimates, and assisting in project bids.

Required Skills & Experience
• B.S. Electrical Engineering (Must be ABET Accredited )
• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering/Design (control room layouts, switchgear, MCCs, one-line diagrams, three-lines, MV/LV design, power distribution design, conduit/cable/wiring design)
• Experience doing design for nuclear plants and adhering to nuclear standards.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• P.E. or EIT
Experience performing power system studies utilizing ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, etc.
