Job Description

You will be part of an entrepreneurial team responsible for delivering world-class products across multiple channels including Java services, web UIs, and APIs. You will be challenged with identifying innovative solutions for our Senior Financial customers with responsibilities that include:

• Serving as a core member of a team that designs and develops software applications.
• Troubleshooting such applications.
• Writing code and unit tests, working on specs, and conducting code reviews and testing.
• Effectively interpreting technical and business objectives and challenges, and articulating sound solutions.
• Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges.
• Working with product managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues.
• Providing effective consultative skills across a multi-functional environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess an uncompromising commitment to producing the highest quality deliverables. Quality is paramount.
• BS or MS degree in computer science, Business/MIS, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Expertise in objected oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms.
• Hands on experience with JBoss, Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Oracle DB, Quartz, Node.js, JavaScript, CSS, Html, React.js, jUnit, Mockito, and Talend.
• Experience with Git, GHA, branching strategies and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with REST API development, software architecture paradigms, design patterns, microservices, application troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, testing, and implementation.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with a broad constituency base (e.g., Business, Tech, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Corporate experience and knowledge of Treasury, Finance, and Liquidity domains.
• Experience with One DLS, AG Grid, and working with other AmEx tech teams.
• Experience working in Rally.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
