How will you make an impact in this role?

Build and maintain database infrastructure to support the various business units needs for data storage and accessibility.

  • IT/DBMS experience which includes experience as a Database Analyst. Experience database designer/developer providing high availability solutions within the Oracle, MY SQL, Postgress and Singlestore DBMS platforms.
  • Expert knowledge of replication tools used to provide high availability including GoldenGate, DataGuard, Patroni and others.
  • Expert in "High Availability" concepts including database recovery procedures, HA design and effective disaster recovery planning.
  • The successful applicant must be proficient in database data access methodologies, understand and managing the database drivers to provide high database availability and performance as well as possess a high competency in problem analysis and performance tuning skills.
  • Knowledge of DBMS support utilities (e.g. OEM, RMAN) and monitoring tools (e.g. Patrol, Tivoli). Ability to extract and analyze database logs for root cause analysis.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 Year hands on in industry with various DBMS patforms
  • Extremely proficient with Lunix OS commands, debug process and break fix
  • Complete understanding as well as hands on with replication methodologies, DB recovery processes, application design considerations for DR and tools used to troubleshoot replication issues


Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle and Postgress DBMS expert
  • Linux and Oracle Linux expertise
  • Experience with Oracle Exadata


Qualifications

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
