Summary of Position

The job is a technical position in Information Technology that will work closely with members of Business Functions and Manufacturing Operations to insure reliable, effective and efficient operations of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ecosystem. The Senior ERP Product Owner works with business leaders on various levels, as well as the key stakeholder and end user communities, other internal IT support, and finally a variety of external IT partners and service providers. This individual is responsible for deploying a capable, reliable and secure ERP platform, including support for integrated upstream and downstream processes and systems. This will involve all aspects of the ERP environment maintenance, technical troubleshooting, requirement definition for new functionality and the development of an overall platform roadmap.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and lead Curium's ERP strategy to deliver successful business outcomes in alignment with the overall IT and Business strategy
  • Work with business stakeholders to define business cases, develop best-fit-solutions and support solution project planning and implementation
  • Be an internal advisor that consults Curium across all levels (Executive, Management, End User, Technical) about opportunities and risks with various ERP system approaches
  • Participate in business-wide meetings to represent ERP topics
  • Participate in the ERP Steering Committee to define standards, facilitate governance, design and drive operating decisions for key business models and related ERP system processes
  • Support the business functions in achieving operational excellence and positive business outcomes
  • Support running the business with troubleshooting of problems, root cause analysis and provision of long term solutions
  • Provide functional and technical specifications for internal and external ERP support resources and end users
  • Support management's budget and financial planning efforts related to enterprise applications
  • Manage Curium's ERP application life cycle, including new implementations, enhancements, upgrades and retirements, and the overall ERP roadmap


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
  • A minimum of five years' experience in ERP Applications with increasing responsibilities in technical functions (production support, system analysis, system design and implementation)
  • Solid experience with ERP platforms required, Info ERP (XA specifically) highly desired
  • Creative problem solving and excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Especially ability to translate complex technical matters into business language and vice versa
  • Ability to estimate and evaluate financial impact of technical solution alternatives
  • Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize multiple concurrent activities
  • Ability to conceptualize complex matters and turn into executable plans
  • Strong stakeholder management, relationship building and consultative experience required
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technology and apply to business needs
  • Experience with selecting, implementing, operating off-the-shelf ERP bolt-on solutions and integrating with adjacent applications
  • Technical documentation skills, especially business process model, technical architecture diagram
  • Experience with Application Management (Life Cycle, Release, Change/Continuous Improvements)
  • Experience with GMP and Computer System Validation requirements is preferred
  • Experience in relevant business functional areas is preferred
  • Experience with Vendor Management (selection, contract support, performance) preferred
  • Experience with Data Management & Business Intelligence preferred


Working Conditions:
  • This position will work in typical office conditions with extensive time using personal computer equipment.
  • May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties.
  • Close attention to detail required.
  • Willingness to work in a team-based environment.
  • The position deals with many deadlines. Due to the short turnaround time of deadlines and limited time, overtime, weekend work and holiday work is sometimes required.
  • Ability to travel domestically and potentially Internationally as required.
