The Senior Financial Analyst - SG&A will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis of Division SG&A expense. This position will require partnership across multiple stakeholders within the organization and will have significant exposure and growth opportunities supported by a management team committed to associate development.

What You Will Do:
  • Analyze SG&A spend for Ecolab divisions, including investments, cost savings initiatives, discretionary spending and compensation
  • Coordinate monthly close and forecast activities, including communicating guidance, facilitating system loads, analyzing results, and preparing content for financial reviews with senior leadership
  • Understand year-over-year and sequential trends within SG&A and related drivers
  • Serve as a business partner to division finance and cross-functional leadership to understand spending needs and articulate trends throughout the year
  • Coordinate integration of headcount planning into SG&A analysis and forecasting
  • Support the annual plan process by partnering with division finance and cross-functional leadership to drive cost center level planning and ownership
  • Develop sustainable content for use in monthly business reviews (MBRs) and provide ad-hoc financial analytics and deep dives to facilitate decision making
  • Partner with broader Industrial finance to drive critical reporting needs and capabilities


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 4 years of accounting and/or finance experience
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this role


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Financial planning and analysis experience
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to efficiently organize and prioritize competing priorities
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to develop, implement and interpret financial models
  • Experience working under time constraints, balancing multiple deliverables and priorities and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
  • Possess a high level of integrity
