The Senior Group Sales Manager is responsible for managing the entire sales process for all groups, including rooms and meeting space. This role requires knowledge and experience in luxury hotels and the ability to sell our vibrant, playful Andaz Miami Beach hotel with one-of-a-kind gathering places offering the perfect backdrop for meetings, weddings and special occasions.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred.
• Hyatt sales systems experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask work well under pressure, be self-sufficient, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Pre-Opening hotel experience highly regarded.
• Detail oriented, organized and be able to handle a fast-paced environment.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Possess a proactive sales approach with measurable results.
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, MIS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Versatile, adaptable, comfortable meeting and interacting with local, regional and international clientele
• Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training.
• Community involvement and/or professional association is highly regarded.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
